NOVAH in the Netherlands

• Mission: NOVAH aims to prevent intimate partner violence (IPV) through  interventions, focusing on areas where IPV is most prevalent.

• Vision: NOVAH uses cost-effective, scalable edutainment radio programs to influence men's behavior and societal norms, backed by academic research and international recommendations.

• First-Year Goal: Complete a Proof of Concept study by developing a 6-part radio show in Rwanda, with qualitative and quantitative evaluations to measure its impact and reach.

• Long-Term Plans (2–5 Years): Expand the intervention's duration and geographic scope, aiming to reach 1 million listeners, assess behavior changes, and ensure cost-effectiveness for adoption in other countries.

• Funding: NOVAH will receive funding from U.S. foundations via the Players Philanthropy Fund (PPF), along with private foundations, government grants, and individual donors in Europe and beyond.

Stichting NOVAH was founded in September, 2024. So far the activities have been focused on setting up the foundations.
