On June 22, Twubakane Season 2 came to an end. Over 12 weeks, 2,400 couples across 96 villages in Rwanda were encouraged to listen either to Twubakane or to a control program.
The research team is now preparing for the endline survey, which will help determine NOVAH’s next steps. In the meantime, we are planning for success by starting a small scoping project in Burundi, where we hope to launch a full season if the RCT results are positive.
After distributing 2,400 radios, enrolling 4,800 participants across 96 villages, and training 192 youth volunteers, Season 2 of Twubakane officially started airing last Monday. The program is set to run until June 22nd.
